MelGeek, a keyboard design company with roots in both engineering and aesthetics, has expanded its product lineup with the release of two new models: the REAL67 Magnetic Keyboard and the O2 Tri-Mode Low-Profile Mechanical Keyboard. Both products reflect the company’s dual focus on technical function and design individuality, appealing to users looking for keyboards that cater to distinct preferences in performance, form, and daily usability.

The REAL67 Magnetic Keyboard introduces Hall Effect switch technology into a compact format, offering a different approach to gaming and typing input. Instead of relying on mechanical contact, the REAL67 detects keystrokes through magnetic field changes, which allows for faster signal detection and more precise control. It features 0.125ms theoretical latency and 0.01 RT accuracy, which are intended to support responsive gameplay and fluid motion for users in competitive or high-input environments. The keyboard also includes a proprietary algorithm for dynamic calibration and a multi-layer printed circuit board optimized for analog signal integrity. These internal features are supported by MelGeek’s in-house driver platform, Hive, which provides user-adjustable profiles and continuous firmware support.

Visually, the REAL67 remains consistent with MelGeek’s approach to design. Offered in four color variants, the keyboard supports customizable side panels for aesthetic and ergonomic personalization. Some configurations include translucent PC keycaps while others use double-shot PBT, giving users options that cater to different tactile and acoustic preferences. A gasket-mounted structure and five-layer dampening system further contribute to a quieter, softer typing experience.

Alongside the REAL67, MelGeek has also introduced the O2, a low-profile mechanical keyboard built with a tri-mode wireless system that supports Bluetooth, 2.4GHz, and wired connections. The O2 is tailored to Mac users and aims to fit naturally into Apple-centric workspaces. Its layout mirrors MacOS keyboard mapping, while the inclusion of magnetically attachable feet aligns it physically with MacBook designs without key interference. The device supports up to eight connected devices with hotkey switching, enabling users to alternate between computers, tablets, and smartphones with minimal disruption.

The O2 also focuses on lightweight design and portability, with materials including an aluminum alloy top frame, transparent PC cover, and ABS base for balance and visual clarity. The typing surface features custom Kailh Sunlight switches, designed to reduce noise and deliver a softer touch suitable for longer sessions. A built-in 2500mAh battery supports up to six months of use under typical conditions, according to internal lab data, and the keyboard carries a 1000Hz polling rate in both wired and 2.4G modes.

While the two keyboards serve different user groups — the REAL67 for high-speed gaming and customization, and the O2 for everyday computing with a focus on Mac compatibility — both represent the company’s continued attention to precision engineering and visual consistency.
