Luther J. Armstrong, founder and president of Salvation Hospital Ministry Network Inc., announces the release of his new book, Kingdom Life … God’s Original Intent for the Church, a thought-provoking work that challenges readers to rediscover the true purpose and power of the Church through the teachings of Jesus Christ.
Drawing from years of biblical study, prayer, missionary experience, and ministry leadership, Armstrong’s book examines the concept of “Kingdom Life” and explores how believers are called to reflect the image of Christ in their thoughts, words, actions, and influence in the world.
Inspired by Jesus’ teachings about the Kingdom of God, including the call to “seek the Kingdom,” Armstrong explains that Kingdom Life extends beyond traditional religious structures, cultural identities, and human limitations. Instead, he presents it as a transformative way of living that demonstrates God’s purpose and creative power on earth.
“Kingdom Life is not simply church life or human life,” Armstrong shares. “It is the exact duplication and demonstration of God’s creative power and influence on the earth as it is in heaven today.”
Throughout the book, Armstrong encourages readers to move beyond restrictive mindsets and embrace the spiritual authority and divine nature available to every believer. Armstrong’s unique perspective is shaped by decades of ministry and international experiences. Born in Eustis, Florida, he served in the United States Air Force, where he traveled the world and lived in seven nations and twelve states. He was licensed to minister in January 1982 and ordained later that year. He earned his college degree in Religious Studies with a minor in Religious Philosophy in 1997.
Known as “God’s Missionary to the Nations,” Armstrong has participated in missionary work across various countries, including Greece and Turkey. While living in Thessalonica, Greece, he became an unofficial guide to biblical locations connected to the Apostle Paul’s journeys. He has also explored significant biblical sites, including Philippi, the Seven Churches of Revelation, Tarsus, and Haran.
