Author Denise Turney’s thriller Escaping Towards Freedom is a fictional story revolving around four teenagers who escape a human trafficking ring. Clarissa Maxwell is a former Navy specialist and has friends in the military special forces. She is holidaying in the countryside in Georgia when she finds a girl hiding at the edge of her cabin. Sight of the girl thrust her into a world of mystery and danger. When other girls show up, Clarissa is forced to face the fact that she’s just become part of a modern slavery escape effort. Can she save the girls from the human trafficking racket? Will she be able to save the girls from modern-day slavery?
Denise Turney has more than thirty years of writing experience. She is an African-American storyteller passionate about writing thrillers, inspirational, and mystery novels for her readers.
