Saint Louis, MO – The National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc. – Metropolitan St. Louis Chapter and Pathways United present a virtual networking event. The virtual networking event is to offer information about the Economic Impact & Diversity Entrepreneurship Program.

The primary objective of the program is to ensure that minority business enterprises can participate in the U.S. Department of Energy projects and initiatives. The technical assistance proposed in the project is supercharged support to ensure capacity building in research, development, demonstration, application submission, and other activities within the U.S. Department of Energy.

“I am excited for this partnership because our communities have been affected by the pandemic. It is important for us to consider entrepreneurial opportunities.  This event will help people get started,”  Katrina Kerr, National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc. – Metropolitan St. Louis Chapter President.

The project promotes economic development in the region’s most underserved community, Saint Louis, Missouri. Economic Impact & Diversity Program builds a more diverse and inclusive Science Technology Engineering and Math (STEM) energy industry.

“I am elated to have a prestigious organization as a partner. Women of color are at the forefront of community building, economic empowerment, and providing access to information,” Alice Prince, CEO and President.

Pathways United will host the First Virtual Networking Event on Thursday, September 17, 2020, from 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm.  Register on Eventbrite  https://www.eventbrite.com/e/economic-impact-and-diversity-entrepreneurship-program-registration-118523293361?ref=estw or our website www.pathwaysunited.org.
